Google powers your router with a new feature that will help users know the connectivity status of multiple devices.
Google Wifi can now measure the performance of each of the devices connected to the network. From this report, the user will be able to determine what he or she must do to obtain optimal connectivity on all devices.
You can simply move the device or router. Or perhaps it’s best to install multiple Google Wi-Fi hotspots, to ensure that coverage reaches the entire house and that dead zones do not occur.
Let’s remember that Google’s proposal is to offer an expandable WiFi system, so having several points is part of the Google Wifi dynamic, and one of the recommendations for continuous coverage.
For example, a Google Wifi can offer good coverage in a house up to almost 140 square meters. So we will need two Google Wifi Points if it exceeds that size, and up to three points if we need to cover up to 400 square meters. But it will also depend on other factors.
So the new function will also be an indicator to evaluate that aspect. As the Google team mentioned, this feature will be available in the coming weeks, when the Google Wifi mobile app is updated.
