Google wants to harness the potential of Google Classroom for more users and is therefore extending its benefits to all G Suite customers.
As the Google team mentions, those with a G Suite account will be added to Google Classroom as an additional new service, as well as Blogger or YouTube. This service is enabled by default, but can be disabled in the admin console under Applications >> Additional services by following the steps in Google Help.
Although Google Classroom is intended as an educational tool, its features allow it to be adapted to different scenarios. For example, it could be used for training new company members or for tutoring in specific areas, including utilities.
This update will benefit all 3 editions of G Suite, Basic, Business and Enterprise, always bearing in mind that it is a complement to the option packs offered by Google. And Google Classroom will continue to be the flagship product of G Suite for Nonprofits or G Suite for Education Edition.
Note that users with G Suite domains for non-profit organizations or educational institutions will not be able to participate in classes generated in the remaining G Suite editions.
