Google Chrome gets updated for Windows 10 notifications. One of the reasons Google Chrome has become the preferred web browser for millions of users is that it works on almost all major platforms. Over time, Google has increasingly tailored this tool to any environment where it is installed, and the upcoming version 68 brings good news for Windows 10 users in this respect.
Although Google Chrome has been working with Windows for some time and even allows notifications on the platform. Despite the fact that in the latest versions of Microsoft’s operating system its way of delivering notifications has changed from less to more, Chrome has not evolved enough to use its own notification system.

Now version 68 of the browser will change this reality. According to the Thurrott website, the software has finally added support for native Windows 10 notifications. This feature seems to have been under scrutiny for several months. Remember that version 59 for MacOS was the first one to support native notifications.
In the next few days, Chrome users will be able to see the default Windows Action Center notifications and limit the number of notifications displayed in the browser and the priority in the Action Center.
On the other hand, users can also avoid being distracted by these notifications when in Focus Assist mode or Silent Hour mode, which is designed to mute notifications when playing a game or in “Do Not Disturb” mode. If you still can’t see the new native Windows 10 notification support in Chrome, simply activate it manually in your browser under “Native Notifications”.
