Gigabyte is preparing RTX 2060 6GB, 4GB and 3GB graphics cards based on the GeForce RTX 2060

According to the latest entry in the EEC (Eurasian Economic Commission), Gigabyte is preparing several graphics cards based on the GeForce RTX 2060. In this filtration we can see that there will be models with three different memory configurations: 6 GB, 4 GB, and 3 GB, but also the GDDR6 and GDDR5(X) variants, each of which is listed.

So far we only knew about the model with 6 GB GDDR6 memory, but if this information is correct, NVIDIA will provide partners with enough models to select and adjust prices according to their needs.

One of the most interesting models is the 4GB version. This card will definitely not offer a 192-bit memory bus, so it is likely to be a higher clock rate model.

In the meantime, the 6GB and 3GB cards will probably share the clock frequency, but they may have different CUDA core numbers, just like the GTX 1060 series.

All models are divided into GD and GC series, the first is used for all RTX 20 series with GDDR6 memory, while the second is based on GDDR5 or GDDR5X.

We expect Gigabyte to release their respective AORUS Xtreme, Gaming OC, WindForce 3X/2X and Mini ATX series based on the RTX 2060 in early 2019.
