Nvidia releases new graphics drivers, the GeForce 391.35. Designed to offer Game Ready for the Far Cry 5 title, they also provide WHQL certification as opposed to beta for AMD’s new Radeon Software Adrenalin.

Nvidia offers optimized drivers for the new Far Cry series opus, Far Cry 5. That includes game optimizations and GeForce Experience “optimal” settings. We also have SLI profiles for two other titles, WRC 7 and Grip.

In parallel, the development team is deploying several bug and security fixes. Importing profiles with the GeForce 3D Profile Manager is again possible while the flaw (memory leak) with the GeForce Experience and Freestyle function has been fixed. Still in terms of security, Nvidia has solved several problems, some of which concern the kernel driver that can cause an elevation of privilege or a denial of service, the DxgkDdiEscape and DxgkDdiEscape functions or the pixel shader (under DirectX 10) that under certain conditions can allow a code execution or a denial of service. You will find all the details at the end of the article.

Finally, we were talking about bug fixes. That targets the Diablo III game and a GPU initialization problem on some notebooks.

Note that if we have a Game Ready for Far Cry 5, there is still a known problem and not fixed. It concerns the activation of HDR on a non-native monitor definition. In this case, Nvidia indicates that the image may flash green. There are two solutions, either quit the game or switch to windowed mode and then go back to full screen.
