Final Fantasy fans are lucky. Square Enix has confirmed the release of Final Fantasy VIII Remastered, the new version of the eighth installment of Square Enix’s award-winning Japanese RPG saga. With years missing on the map, fans will soon be able to enjoy a new version of the eighth edition celebrating its 20th anniversary. This new version for modern platforms will feature revised graphics and other new features such as Speed (x3), No Encounters mode and Easier Battles mode.
To celebrate its launch, the Japanese company has shown the game’s launch trailer. In this new video, we can see some sequences of the game and other images of the gameplay of this new version. In addition, we can also see a review of the main features of the game.

Remastering also includes a number of features designed to enhance the gaming experience and adapt it to today’s world. It includes the option of continuously filling the VIT and BTC (Battle in Continuous Time) bars to the maximum, with the limits (special attacks) always available. It also includes an option to eliminate random encounters and make the speed of the game three times faster.
