Facebook adds features to playback and add music to videos

Facebook announced some interesting new features that will encourage users to enjoy music in videos and Facebook Live.

One of the new features will give users the ability to add music to personal videos they share on Facebook. According to what they have said, they are working with different music companies to offer this option to all users.

So we can add our favourite songs to the moments we want to share on Facebook through videos, whether it’s a wedding, the latest vacation or the mascot’s bloopers collection. At the moment, they are only testing this option in some markets.

They also announced a new feature, Lip Sync Live, that allows you to synchronize your lips with the songs you’re listening to (and that are available on the platform) and play them back on Facebook Live.

To try this feature just start the live video, choose a song and choose Lip Sync Live, as shown in the picture:

Those who view the broadcast will see the title of the song, the artist and the option to follow it on Facebook. And for a personal touch, it also allows you to add a description, as well as filters and backgrounds to the video.

According to the Facebook team, there are many more new features on the way that will enrich the experience of users on the platform through music.
