EVGA announced its new GeForce GTX 1650 GDDR6 and released two variants: SC Ultra and SC Ultra Black. Both models use the same dual-fan cooling system we saw on the GTX-16 SC Ultra line, and have a metal backplate, with the only difference being in frequency.
Both models have the GTX 1650 core with 896 Cuda cores, accompanied by 4 GB of GDDR6 memory at 12 Gbps for a bandwidth of 192 GB/s. The difference is that the SC Ultra model is amplified at 1710MHz and the SC Ultra Black model at 1605MHz.
As for their prices, in the United States they cost 10 U$S more than the GDDR5 variants, for example, the GTX 1650 GDDR6 SC Ultra costs 179.99 U$S, while the GTX 1650 GDDR5 SC Ultra costs 169.99 U$S. Strangely enough, these new graphics cost the same or even more than the GTX 1650 Super, which also comes with GDDR6 but 1280 Cuda cores, so they don’t seem like a very good choice if they’re not on sale.
