Deep Learning Super Sampling with support for more games
GeForce RTX graphics cards enable Deep Learning Super Sampling to run games with higher resolution at a lower performance degradation. With this technology, images are scaled using an AI algorithm to deliver image quality levels similar to a native resolution presentation. Most importantly, this technology enables games to run faster on Nvidia RTX-enabled graphics cards which makes high-resolution gaming fluency more accessible than ever.
Deep Learning Super Sampling uses AI Tensor Cores
As Nvidia’s performance data shows, DLSS has performance advantages that allow the Nvidia GeForce RTX 2080 to perform 2x better than the GTX 1080 in four of the six tested cases. This new feature allows Nvidia to deliver higher gaming performance without additional power consumption courtesy of the Tensor core’s AI performance.
Up until now, a total of sixteen games have been announced by Nvidia to support the company’s DLSS technology plus nine more titles including Ninja Theory’s Returning Digital’s SCUM, Overkill’s The Walking Dead and Hellblade Senua’s Sacrifice. The titles that are new in this list will be marked with “New added” next to the name. Each of the titles listed below is committed to supporting DLSS with future patches and updates.
