CD Projekt has just released a gameplay video for its next title Cyberpunk 2077. The game was not run on a PC platform but on two consoles.
This is a premiere. The Polish development studio CD Projekt proposes a gameplay session of Cyberpunk 2077 with an Xbox Series X console and an Xbox One X. The video is entitled “Cyberpunk 2077 – Night City Wire Special: Xbox One X and Xbox Series X footage”. It lasts about ten minutes and offers a first look at this Xbox Series X and Xbox One X versions.
Cyberpunk 2077 is a highly anticipated AAA title. Its release was scheduled for April 16, 2020, but there was the first delay. He moved the date back to September 17th. Unfortunately, a second postponement with a new date was announced on November 19. Finally CD Projekt asked the players to wait until December 10th. One of the good news is that the title is awarded in Golden Master on October 5th. In other words, it is considered to be fully completed. The goal since that date is to search for bugs, maybe with the release of patches on D-Day.
Note that there is no difference between the Xbox Series X/S and Xbox One X versions at launch, except for the definition and number of FPS. This will only be due to the performance of the console. It will be necessary to wait for a “next-gen” patch in 2021 to take advantage of the improvements that the new hardware brings.
