There are only two weeks left until CES 2018. And thanks to the Futuremark SystemInfo we can see the Intel Core i7-8709G. That is the company’s first processor that will incorporate AMD Radeon graphics in the same package. In particular, the Kaby Lake-G silicon will be accompanied by a Vega M graphics processor. That comes with several HBM2 memory cells, which will give a significant performance jump to the company’s processors with respect to its integrated Intel HD graphics.
The Core i7-8709G and its Vega M graphics are seen in the Futuremark SystemInfo.
Thanks to the Futuremark SystemInfo benchmarking software. Also, we know that the Intel Core i7-8709G uses 4 cores and 8 processing threads under the Kaby Lake micro-architecture at a Base / Turbo frequency of 3.10 / 3.90 GHz. That is accompanied by AMD Radeon RX Vega graphics M (694C: C0) working at a frequency of 1.19 GHz with 4 GB of HBM2 @ 800 MHz memory. That comes along with a 1024-bit memory interface resulting in a bandwidth of 204.8 GB / s.
The Intel Core i7-8709G is a quad-core processor based on Intel’s Kaby Lake architecture and part of the 8th generation of Intel Core processors. It was released in the first quarter of 2018 and is designed for use in high-performance laptops and desktop computers.
The Core i7-8709G has a base clock speed of 3.1 GHz and can turbo boost up to 4.1 GHz, providing fast and responsive performance for demanding tasks such as video editing, gaming, and content creation. It also features 8 MB of Intel Smart Cache and supports up to 64 GB of DDR4 memory.
One of the key features of the Core i7-8709G is its integrated graphics processor, the Intel HD Graphics 630. This GPU provides basic graphics performance for everyday tasks and can handle lightweight gaming and video playback.
Overall, the Intel Core i7-8709G is a powerful and capable processor that provides excellent performance and versatility for demanding tasks. If you are looking for a high-performance processor for your laptop or desktop computer, the Core i7-8709G is definitely worth considering.
