Concrete Storm Fused works of Mixed Reality and Art

HoloLens is a device that combines the world of real eyes and the world of 3D holograms to show the so called Mixed Reality (mixed reality). The “Concrete Storm” is a mixed reality art work presentation.

In this mixed reality experience the person who wants to see the art work will enter in a room where first the green lines crosses each other. Next in the room there are countless things like small pillars.

At first glance there is nothing to get the glace but just a room. But with the HoloLens, you can enjoy the magic of  mixed reality. This works with the best art works show designed in mixed reality for Microsoft Hololens.

The continuation of the crushed pillar has reflections by the mixed reality of HoloLens. In addition, it also shows how many pieces of fine concrete cuts into pieces in the air like the title of the work “Concrete Storm”.

HoloLens shortens the distance to people’s art

Elena Soboleva, who organizes this work, says, “A new way for art is open. I am not sure when the art of augmented reality will get so much advancements. But still now even art works that are thousands of kilometers apart may be not so far as you can see these art works at anytime, anywhere.”

In future the AR technologies will increase opportunities for people to come into contact with artwork.

The Armory show on display of this work is also a traditional large-scale art exhibition started in 1913. So in this “Concrete Storm” presentation they are exhibiting firmly acknowledged artistry. And the future expects that great works of art using HoloLens and other VR, AR will continue.
