I admit I don’t use Siri. It’s not that I don’t like the girl, but I just don’t like talking to machines, and even though I haven’t tried, I just don’t think so. But I also recognize that I’m part of the exception and that most iPhone and iPad users use this voice or virtual assistant in their everyday lives. But do you know that you can also choose between different voices to receive their spoken answers?
In the United States, Siri’s default voice is American English and female. In Spain, however, Siri is programmed as a Spanish-speaking woman from Spain as standard. And although there are still few configuration options, you can make this change. In our country, Siri can have a man’s voice and speak Spanish from Mexico. In fact, you can combine these four characteristics as you wish: woman or man, Spanish or Mexican. was to achieve it, all you have to do is follow these instructions:
First, open the “Settings” application on your iPhone or iPad
Then select the section entitled “Siri and Search”.
Once there, select the options you prefer between Spanish and Mexican, at the top, and between Man or Woman, at the bottom.
These are the options we have available in Spain, but if you live in another country or have another region configured on your iPhone or iPad, the options will be different, although in any case, you can change Siri’s voice by following the steps described. In addition, in the “Siri and Search” option you can also choose another language, which can be very useful for improving your English, French, Italian…
