Biostar M500 with PCI Express 3.0 x2 interface and a heat sink

This new Biostar M500 SSD supports the NVMe 1.2 protocol, which allows it to offer a sequential read and write speed of 1700 MB/s and 1100 MB/s respectively, while the performance in 4K random operations is up to 200K and 180K IOPS in read and write respectively.

The Biostar M500 features intelligent LED indicators on the heatsink cover to inform the user about temperature and data activity. This system displays the temperature in real time in three different levels: green for temperatures below 50°C, yellow for temperatures between 50°C and 65°C, and red for temperatures above 65°C. As for the data transmission light, it shows the status in blue light for the access status and a green light for the PCIe Gen 2/Gen 3 transmission mode.

The Biostar M500 features a diamond-shaped heat sink, which provides efficient cooling to maintain performance and prevent thermal choking. The heatsink also gives you an avant-garde look, perfect for any gaming equipment. Its power consumption is only 1.7W in reading operations, which helps to improve the autonomy of laptops.

This new Biostar M500 is one of the most interesting proposals for users looking for an NVMe SSD with good performance. The price has not been announced.
