Battlefield V is one of the most anticipated games of this year and one of the most graphically demanding games that we will be able to enjoy on PC. Their minimum and recommended requirements have been confirmed in the last few hours, revealing that they will not be as high as one might expect.
Here are the requirements to play Battlefield V
Like the Battlefield 1, Battlefield V will use the Frostbite graphics engine, which allows for some of the best effects and graphics on both computer and video game consoles.
Old’ graphics cards such as the HD 7850 or GTX 660 with 2GB of memory can work on Battlefield V, probably with low graphics settings. Among the recommended requirements we can see that an i7 of the Intel 4000 series or a mythical FX 8350 plus a mid-range graphics card such as the GTX 1060 are enough to play this game in the recommended configuration. There are two ways.
Minimum requirements:
- OS: Windows 7, Windows 8.1 and Windows 10 64-bit.
- Processor: (AMD): AMD FX-6350 (Intel): Core i5 6600K.
- Memory: 8 GB RAM.
- Graphics card: (AMD): AMD Radeon HD 7850 with 2 GB (NVIDIA): nVidia GeForce GTX 660 with 2 GB.
Recommended requirements:
- Operating system: Windows 10 64-bit or later.
- Processor: (AMD): AMD FX 8350 Wraith (Intel): Intel Core i7 4790 or equivalent.
- Memory: 16 GB of RAM.
- Graphics card: (AMD): AMD Radeon RX 480 with 4 GB (NVIDIA): NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1060 with 3 GB.
There doesn’t seem to be a big leap forward from what we saw at Battlefield 1, one could say that they are even identical in terms of technical requirements.
Battlefield V will be released for PC on October 19.
