Thermalright announces a new version of its AXP-100, the AXP-100 Full Copper. As the name suggests, we have a fan made of copper. Indeed, it is completely made of copper.
This AXP-100 full copper is a Top Flow fan. Clearly, it has a fan that is arranged horizontally. Its task is to push the air down. It is advantageous to improve the cooling of the various elements surrounding the base. It also permits to propose a reduced height.
AXP-100 Full Copper, details.
This is precisely one of its advantages with a height of only 44 mm. Its dimensions are 108 x 121 mm for a resulting weight of 640 grams (copper required). Its architecture benefits from six copper heat pipes with a diameter of 6 mm, that transport the heat from the base to the fins.
All this is covered by a fan with the color code of the whole with a reddish frame and orange shovels. The 120 mm TY-100 PWM offers a speed between 900 and 2500 rpm at an air flow rate of 16 to 44.5 CFM. All of this is announced with noise nuisances between 22 and 30 dBA.
During operation, the unit generates a noise level of 22 – 30 dB and provides an air flow rate of 16 – 44.5 CFM (27.2 – 75.6 m3/h). This combination of the heat sink and fan should be suitable for processors with a TDP of max. 180 W.
The package contains connection elements for different types of sockets. It supports LGA 2066 and 115x for Intel and AM4 for AMD.
The official price of this AXP-100 Full Copper is not quoted by Thermalright.
