ASUS RX 6900 XT, this is the first model with custom design

AMD RX 6900 XT graphics cards will be released on December 8 this year, but only with reference models. ASUS exchanged images of this reference model yesterday, and today they are the first to reveal the first fully customized model of this GPU.

ASUS is the first manufacturer to unveil its own customized RX 6900 XT graphics card, which is part of its well-known TUF gaming series.

Like all custom models, they use better materials and in general a more robust cooling system. ASUS retains the cooling, which consists of three fans, but these are now of higher quality with eleven blades and a central fan with thirteen blades. This should provide a higher airflow than the reference model. In addition, the cover is completely gray and RGB LEDs have been added at the top to illuminate the logo. We will be able to customize this area with different lighting modes and colors. Although RGB lighting is available, it is possible that we will see other custom models much more eye-catching and with more RGB.

ASUS also adds a 0dB mode that disables the fans when the graphics card is not in use, reducing PC noise. The aluminum backplate is retained to protect the components from dust or impact.

As for the display outputs, ASUS seems to retain the configuration of the Strix RX 6800 XT models with three DisplayPort connectors and two HDMI 2.1 connectors.

Finally, the ASUS graphics card is supplied with power via two 8-pin connectors. The clock rates were not shared at the time of release.

This model will not be available for launch but will arrive later, but we do not know exactly when. The reference model has an official price of 999 dollars, so this model should cost between 1100 and 1200 dollars.
