Presented at the Computex 2017, and already officially announced, ASUS has just launched its new gaming monitor within its well-known Republic of Gamers range. That is the new ROG Strix XG27VQ, a 27-inch monitor, 1800R curvature, Full-HD 1080p resolution, 144Hz refresh rate and LMB (Low Motion Blur) and Adaptive-Sync (FreeSync) support.

This new range of Strix gaming monitors is the first range of ASUS gaming monitors that feature FreeSync support. So, leaving the previous ROG models relegated to G-Sync only, which is a novelty thanks to its VA panel that covers the Range 48-144Hz with FreeSync along with a range of color gamut of 72% NTSC, 300 nits of brightness, 4ms of response and 8-bit color.
ASUS ROG Strix XG27VQ Features
This new ROG Strix XG27VQ features ASUS AURA compatibility for the synchronization of its RGB LED lighting, in addition to height, tilt and rotation customization. Also will be present the manufacturer’s OSD technologies that will allow us to add a crosshair, time and even a framerate counter.
ASUS ROG Strix Evolve, New Gaming Mouse
There is ASUS DisplayWidget software, which will accompany the monitor, is an intuitive software utility that allows users to modify settings or configure ASUS GameVisual, App Sync ™, and Blue Light Filter. ASUS DisplayWidget makes accessing and using settings much quicker and easier. GameVisual technology gives up to seven preset display modes (MOBA, RTS / RPG, FPS, sRGB, Racing, Landscape, and Cinema) to optimize visuals for various types of games.
