Asus VG258Q is a new gaming monitor. That comes to market to offer the most demanding gamers a solution with a very high refresh rate. And that also comes with the support of AMD FreeSync technology.
The Asus VG258Q monitor offers excellent gameplay smoothness
The new Asus VG258Q monitor features a 25-inch panel with a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels. Also, that offers a high refresh rate of 144 Hz, a response time of 1 ms and FreeSync technology. All of this is coupled with Asus Extreme Low Motion Blur technology to provide impressive fluidity in games. The panel features continue with 400-nit brightness and dynamic mega-contrast.
Finally, we highlight that it includes profiles for specific games and a framerate meter so you can see the performance of the games without having to install any additional software. For video inputs, DisplayPort 1.2a, HDMI 1.4 and dual-link DVI-D ports are included.

It has a maximum brightness of 400 nits and a static contrast of 1000:1, with a response time of 1 ms. The panel has the usual features of blue light reduction, anti-flicker and motion blur reduction through ASUS-specific technologies. It also includes a sighting point that can be adjusted and placed in the center of the panel through the options, an FPS counter, and timer.
The monitor has few screen frames, and its stand can be adjusted in inclination between -5º and 33º, swivel -90º to +90º, pivot -90º to +90º, and improve the height up to +130 mm. It is compatible with 100 × 100 mm VESA mounting. Connectors include a DVI-D, DisplayPort 1.2 and HDMI 1.4. The bottom part contains 2W stereo speakers.
The price has not been announced. So we will have to wait a bit to see if it is worth it.
