ASUS is developing a tailored AMD Radeon RX 590 model

New AMD Radeon RX 590 benchmark confirmed by Videocardz confirming that ASUS is working on a custom model.
When we first heard about the AMD Radeon RX 590, we thought it was just another rumor, but it seems to be getting pretty serious. A benchmark of the ASUS Radeon RX 590 RoG Strix Gaming that would be based on Polaris Refresh has now been released. This benchmark on Time Spy is true because Videocardz has confirmed that ASUS is working on a custom version of the RX 590.

In this context, a few months ago there was a rumor about the possible launch of the Radeon RX 600 and now the rumor came back. A few days ago the rumor appeared of Polaris Refresh, also known as Polaris 30, based on the lithography of the 12nm, which will allow an increase in frequencies. Originally it was aimed at the RX 600 series, but it seems that AMD has not created a new family, but a special solution called RX 590.

That would be a big step until the new Navi arrives next year and sees if they can reduce NVIDIA’s supremacy slightly in the graphics market. Anyway, the rumors have become reality and would be confirmed by AMD shortly.

Technically, the RX 590, as we saw in an earlier benchmark, would have a frequency of 1545MHz and a total of 8GBG DDR5 @ 8Gbps. There is no data for the number of shader processors, but the 2304 shader processors are targeted, such as RX 580 and RX 480.

Videocardz also explains that ASUS is working on the ASUS Radeon RX 590 RoG Strix Gaming (ROG-STRIX-RX590-8G-GAMING) and the AREZ brand, which has very little space on the market at present.
