ASRock is a new contender and a new option in the gaming graphics card market and recently announced its Phantom Gaming line with Radeon VEGA GPUs. The bad news was that these charts were not going to make it to Europe, as we mentioned in a news story earlier. This is apparently going to change.
ASRock confirms the arrival of Phantom Gaming graphics cards in Europe
The decision not to come to Europe was met with much criticism, which was undoubtedly placed on AMD’s shoulders. Subsequently, ASRock issued a press release saying it was its own business decision.
Finally, ASRock does have plans to enter the European market after all, as ASRock directly confirmed to the HardwareLuxx people who visited during the Computex.
Phantom Gaming
The first graphics card to be offered in Germany will be the Radeon RX Vega 56. The company confirmed that RX Vega 64 is also on its way, but did not specify when. So far no confirmation has been given on complete custom models, but sources claim that such graphics cards are in process.
The ASRock Radeon RX Vega 56 is not a pure reference model, it comes with a custom backplate and a non-standard frequency. The card itself is part of the Phantom Gaming series.
The ASRock Phantom Gaming RX Vega 56 will be available in July.
