ASRock launches its Radeon VII Phantom Gaming X graphics card

ASRock is one of the manufacturers who couldn’t miss the launch of the new AMD high-performance graphics card with the Radeon VII Phantom Gaming X model, which, like all AMD partner manufacturers, is equipped with a design reference.

The only thing that distinguishes this graphics card from the reference model are the logos in the middle of the fans, the rest of the design is the same, with the same specifications for frequencies and connectors.

The Phantom Gaming X graphics card, which includes the world’s first 7nm Radeon VII game graphics card and the first with 4096-bit HBM2 memory and 16GB capacity as well as a complete set of instructions like DirectX 12, OpenGL 4.5 and Vulkan for the latest games.

The GPU frequencies are 1400 MHz as base and 1750 MHz as boost. The memory bandwidth is 1 TB/s. The connectivity consists of 1 single HDMI port and 3 DisplayPorts. In addition, full compatibility with FreeSync 2 HDR is mentioned.

The graphics card can be used with the free Phantom Gaming Tweak application to overclock and perform all temperature and fan speed monitoring from a single location.

ASRock claims that average gaming performance has increased by 29% and average content creation efficiency by 36% over the previous Radeon RX generation.
