The AMD B450 chipset will replace the company’s existing B350 series models, offering some enhancements in functionality, as well as native support for Raven Ridge (Ryzen+Vega APUs) CPUs and second generation Ryzen processors.

The B450 is likely to offer many of the same benefits as the X470 over the X370, including lower chipset power consumption, improved memory support, and support for new technologies such as XFR 2.0 and StoreMI, to make the most of the new Ryzen second generation processors.

ASRock also plans to showcase its new Phantom Gaming Series graphics cards at the event, along with new hardware for block string and HPC (high-performance computing) applications.

The AMD B350 series motherboards were mid-range motherboard chipsets, priced lower than those based on the X370 chipset, but without the additional SATA ports and Crossfire validation. In addition, these kinds of chips offered good features for overclocking. That’s why we’re looking forward to the arrival of the B450 motherboards, fortunately, we won’t have to wait too long.
