GeForce Partners Program gave birth to several series of graphics cards from major manufacturers, which were created to continue selling AMD hardware, as this Nvidia program involved the exclusivity of major brands such as Asus ROG and MSI Gaming. AREZ Strix Radeon RX Vega 64 was Asus’ answer to the AMD cards, and it has made them more expensive.

Newegg lists the Asus ROG Strix Radeon RX Vega 64 for $589.99, a card made before the GeForce Partners Program. The emergence of this GeForce Partners program gave birth to the AREZ Strix Radeon RX Vega 64, the same card, but with a different name that is listed for $749.99 in Newegg. A difference of $160 for a name change on the same graphics card. To ensure that this is not a discrepancy between the various vendors in the Newegg marketplace, screenshots are posted confirming that both products are sold and shipped via Newegg.

Nvidia triggered a strong negative reaction with its GeForce Partners Program to keep the well-established gaming hardware brands unique to GeForce GTX graphics cards, forcing them to re-brand their AMD Radeon products and putting AMD at a disadvantage.
