We have good news regarding the Ryzen 5 2500U processor that comes with integrated GPU architecture VEGA. The Ryzen 5 2500U would belong to the APU series with integrated graphics and today we can see some of its results on the Geekbench page, which we share with you in the following lines.

According to Geekbench, The Ryzen 5 2500U ” Raven Ridge ” earned 3,561 performance points with a single core and 9,421 multitasking points.

If we compare these results with the old APU A12 9800, we see that the performance is 36% higher in mono-core performance and 46% higher in multitasking performance. The result is surprising considering that the Ryzen 5 2500U works at only 2GHz, while the A12 is running at 3.8GHz, that is, the latter with four threads of execution, while the Ryzen does it with eight threads.

As you can guess from these results, the jump from the old ‘ Bulldozer ‘ based APUs, and these new Ryzen based ones are going to be substantial, and you still have to know how to be the performance of the VEGA GPU in the same package.
