Each year Apple hosts the WWDC, an event for developers where the company presents the next versions of iOS and macOS. With a few weeks to go before WWDC 2018, everything seems to indicate that Apple is using Siri to give clues with the news that we could see during the event.
As echoed by The Apple Post, Apple’s Voice Assistant would be providing event information to users with compatible devices who ask about the event. In particular, Siri would have revealed that it would soon have a completely new voice, which is interesting news for users of iOS and macOS devices. The launch of the new Apple voice is likely to enhance the wizard’s naturalness and capabilities, as Siri is not up to the task of the competition’s attendees today.
In addition to the above, Siri has revealed that he will soon have “a new home”, which can be interpreted as Apple introducing a new smart speaker. It’s been a year since the company launched HomePod, its first foray into the physical assistant industry. Rumor has it that Apple would present a cheaper version of the HomePod to reinforce its commitment to this type of device.
At this point it is important to bear in mind that we do not yet have more official details, so we will have to wait until 4 June, when the event will begin.
