A UserBenchmark snapshot of a Ryzen 9 4900U with integrated graphics was filtered. It did not take long for the news to spread over the network.
We already know that the Ryzen 9 4900U is a spectacular beast, but we knew nothing about a version with integrated graphics. In theory, it’s a low-power chip, but it’s designed for more demanding tasks. That’s why it looked like it would come with a dedicated graphics card, but that won’t always be the case.
Ryzen 9 4900U with integrated graphics scores
This chip has made its appearance in UserBenchmark in a worthy manner with a GPU called “AMD Ted3-RN”. “Ted” could stand for “test engineering device”, which would mean it was a test device. We first heard about this Ryzen 9 4900U when Lenovo introduced it.
If we analyze the image, we first see the base and turbo frequency of the Ryzen 9 4900U, which is 1.8 GHz and 2.35 GHz respectively. It seems to us to be too low a frequency because everything indicated that its turbo would be 4.3 GHz.
As for the results of the Ryzen 9 4900U’s integrated graphics, they are not exciting, but we acknowledge that they are quite good for an APU: 136 single-core points and 198 2-core points. However, this is a version that still needs to be refined, so we will have to wait a little longer.
In short, very good graphics and specifications of the Ryzen 9 4900U that surprise us. Anyway, just below it, we see the message “Relative power n.a. – insufficient samples”, which shows that the performance is not final.
