The Ryzen 7 7730U processor was discovered in PassMark. This model belongs to Barcelo-R and is an 8-core, 16-thread model with Zen 3 cores. Since it is an upgrade of the Ryzen 7 5825U, its performance proves to be only slightly better than that model.
Of course, it is a variant for the notebook segment, which uses a new nomenclature thought up by AMD that indicates the target segment and also the associated architecture. In this case, the third number of the 7730U indicates the Zen generation it belongs to.
The CPU was determined with a base clock of 2.0 GHz and a boost clock of 4.5 GHz with a maximum TDP of 15 W.
According to PassMark results, the Ryzen 7 7730U processor is 4% faster in the single-thread test and 3% faster in the multi-thread test.
