AMD has announced the first two Ryzen Threadripper processors. But this time they have come with finally more details of the arrival of the Ryzen 3. That is Ryzen 3 1200 and Ryzen 3 1300X. These processors are halfway to be competition for Core i3 and Intel Core i5, so they may be more powerful processors than these.
The two processors announced by the company, which will go on sale on July 27, are the Ryzen 3 1300X quad-core multi-core. That is operating at 3.5 GHz base frequencies and 3.7 GHz on turbo mode. And the Ryzen 3 1200 four-core physical/logic, 3.1 GHz base and 3.4 GHz turbo.

They have not given information on these processors, except that they will be compatible with motherboards with chipset A320, B350 and X370 – I expect these new processors without requiring a BIOS update as I did when testing the X370 with the Ryzen 5 1400. They have not indicated the price.
At the start of the video, Lisa Su, president, and CEO of AMD, along with John Taylor, corporate vice president of marketing have words. They start by talking about the Ryzen 3 processors, about clock speed and launch date. Unfortunately, they have not said anything about the price.
Ryzen 3 1200 and 1300X Price and Launch details
These are the two Ryzen 3 processors that will go on sale:
Ryzen 3 1200: The processor with 4 cores and four threads at 3.1 / 3.4 Ghz. Available July 27 worldwide
Ryzen 3 1300X. 4-core and 4-threads 3.5 / 3.7 GHz processor Available July 27 worldwide
AMD Ryzen Pro 7, Ryzen Pro 5 & Ryzen Pro 3
If we consider the price of the Ryzen 5 1400, 179 euros, the Ryzen 3 1200 possibly exists to just over 100 euros. And the Ryzen 3 1300X processor could be around 140/150 euros. We will have to wait until July 27 to know the price and thus to leave doubts.
