AMD is a little over a week away from launching its new Radeon RX 5700 series graphics cards, based on the new Navi GPU architecture, and although we will see the Radeon RX 5700 XT and RX 5700, there won’t be a flagship that will face the RTX 2080 and RTX 2080 Ti. However, AMD seems to be planning to launch more with higher performance, such as the RX 5950 and the RX 5950 XT.

Sapphire registers the Radeon RX 5900, RX 5900 XT, RX 5950 and RX 5950 XT brands.

AMD Navi on the way

The “rumor”, in fact, it’s not really that bad. After the new Twitter leaks from Komachi, Sapphire seems to be working on many new Radeon RX 5000 series cards, including some so-called flagship models we’ve never heard of. These include the Radeon RX 5900, RX 5900 XT, RX 5950 and RX 5950 XT as new high-end navi-based graphics cards.

Sapphire has registered all of these brands, despite the fact that there may not be so many models in the shops. It seems very unlikely that the Radeon RX 5000 series has so many models. AMD hasn’t published so many cards in a long time. Perhaps Sapphire has registered these models in advance, but in the end they will be fewer.

However, AMD may still have something to say in the high-end and enthusiastic market segments. There must be a reason why AMD chose not to call the Navi 10-based models RX 5900 or RX 5800, which would have been logical.

Meanwhile, the RX 5700 series will arrive in stores on July 7. We will keep you informed.
