AMD Radeon VII: EK launches EK-Vector Radeon VII water blocks

A few days ago EK guys showed some progress on their water block for Radeon VII, and in the last few hours, the official launch has just taken place with the EK-Vector Radeon VII.

EK-Vector Radeon VII are compatible with Radeon VII graphics cards in the reference design. This type of efficient cooling allows AMD’s high-end graphics card to achieve much higher frequencies, providing more room for overclocking and more performance during operation.

This water block directly cools the graphics processor, the 16GB HBM2 memory and the VRM (voltage regulation module) as the coolant passes directly through these critical areas.

These newly developed water blocks feature a newly developed cooling motor that takes up more space than the previous generation of EK Full Cover water blocks. This results in a larger heat transfer surface, which increases thermal efficiency.

The base of the block consists of nickel-plated electrolytic copper, while the upper part consists of the acrylic material POM Acetal (depending on the variant). The aesthetically pleasing front corner is illuminated with an RGB LED strip. The block also has a special plastic cover over the terminal strip. This add-on was developed to reveal the graphics card model visible from the side. High-quality EPDM O-rings are used for sealing.

The EK-Vector Radeon VII water blocks are compatible with the RGB synchronization technologies of leading motherboard manufacturers as they feature a classic 4-pin 12V RGB LED strip. The EK-Vector Radeon VII water blocks are already pre-sold and will be delivered on Monday 1 April.
