AMD introduces a new graphics card for the professional sector Radeon Pro WX 8200. Today AMD announced a new powerful addition to the Radeon Pro WX workstation graphics line with the AMD Radeon Pro WX 8200 graphics card, which delivers the world’s best graphics performance for less than $1,000.
This card is specially prepared for real-time visualization, virtual reality (VR) and photorealistic rendering. AMD has also introduced important updates to Radeon ProRender and a new partnership with Vancouver Film School that will enable the next generation of developers to realize their VFX effects through the power of Radeon Pro graphics.
AMD takes advantage of its new graphics card to demonstrate that it is ideal for design and manufacturing, media and entertainment, architecture, engineering and construction (AEC) in all phases of product development.
The card is based on the “Vega” architecture with the 14 nm FinFET process and already features broadband cache controller (HBCC) technologies as well as an advanced pixel engine and ECC error correction memory.
Radeon Pro WX 8200 will be on sale in Newegg on August 13 for approximately $999.
