AMD is expected to introduce Navi to the graphics card market this year. Things are still mysterious, but some things may have just moved.
The CompuBench databases have been updated with a new entry. We cannot guarantee that this is a Radeon RX Navi. The card appears under the reference “66AF: F1”, which is not very explicit. The hypothesis of a Navi generation model is explained by the fact that “66AF: F1” is unknown in the current range. It is also possible that there are a few things that are completely different.
Depending on the application, this AMD Navi GPU has 20 CPUs or 1280 flow processors if AMD maintains the same architecture with 64 flow processors per CPU.
In terms of performance (pure graphics), the results of this so-called GPU Navi position far ahead of a Radeon RX 580. In terms of performance, we have a balance on a Radeon RX Vega 56.
In calculation tests, the results with values similar to those of a Radeon RX 580 are less promising. Some of them are already mitigating these results by pointing out that AMD has announced that Navi will be a solution designed for graphics and video gaming performance rather than gross performance.
