There is no doubt that the CPUs from AMD are a complete success. They have been occupying almost all of Amazon’s 10 top-selling CPUs for months and are the top sellers in several countries. One of these countries is Germany, where 86.11% of CPUs sold in February were red.

That leaves only a pitiful 13.89% for Intel, which is about to launch its new generation, which will compete against the competing 3rd generation AMD Ryzen.

As always, the best-selling CPU was the Ryzen 5 3600, the most fuel-efficient processor based on Zen 2 at 7nm, as the Ryzen 3000 range of APUs is based on Zen+ at 12nm. Not only is it the most economical model, but with its 6 cores and 12 threads it is also an excellent option with an excellent price/performance ratio, and even models with 4 cores and 8 threads are certainly still the most frequently chosen option.

On Intel’s side, not the most sold option was the most economical, but the i7-9700K, which is usually one of the most used game variants.
