Intel seems to have the pleasure of taking AMD Radeon’s employees into its strengths, remember that the semiconductor giant plans to enter the graphics card market in 2020, thus forming the best possible team in its ranks. And its new contract is the Damien Triolet.
Damien Triolet was Intel’s last signature from AMD. According to the Damien Triolet’s profiles on LinkedIn and Facebook, on November 26, 2018, he began working for Intel in a technical marketing position in the games and graphics department. He probably joins Raja Koduri and the many others who have gone the same way. And his excellent ratings was undoubtedly what attracted AMD’s attention and now Intel will definitely benefit from his presence.
Artic Sound will be Intel’s first GPU architecture to bring the company’s first discrete graphics cards to life in years. This design was overseen by Raja Koduri, who was Chief Architect of Radeon until the release of Vega when he decided to leave the company because of Vega’s lack of success. Intel has much more resources than AMD, so Koduri will be able to show what it can really do without the severe budget constraints for which Vega was designed.
