Microsoft is constantly working hard to develop and improve Skype. There are many new additions to the Windows 10 version recently, but that’s not all. Now the company has decided to implement a function that has been lacking since the beginning of the program. It has been 15 years now. Shortly it’s going to be possible to record calls on Skype.
Later this month, Skype will be updated and you will be able to record calls. The feature will be based on the cloud, so after recording, we will be able to view conversation data on various devices and systems, such as Windows, MacOS, iOS, Androidzie or even Linux.
As soon as we start recording a call, each of our interlocutors will be informed immediately that the recording has just started. The recording is only introduced now, 15 years after Skype’s launch. Until now, users had to refer to various external programs, e.g. Avaer.
Call recording is just the beginning of a Skype change. Microsoft is planning a whole set of various add-ons to be released later this summer. What’s more, the company even changes the look of the application to make it more like a mobile version. If you are planning to switch to Windows 10, where we will launch the latest version of Skype, you will find a new system in stores in both Home and Pro editions.
