ADATA Technology has introduced a new SSD-drive model in the game lineup XPG SX7000. New drive is in the M.2 form factor size and it is based on memory 3D TLC NAND. XPG SX7000 is coupled with SMI controller.
The drive is connected to the motherboard via PCI Express 3.0 x4 interface and provides read and write speed of 1800 Mbytes/s and 850 Mb/s respectively. And new drive can achieve 130K / 140K I / O operations per second. Also in accordance with the specifications NVMe 1.2. SX7000 model is available with the volume capacities of 128 GB 256 GB 512 GB or 1 TB.
ADATA XPG SX7000 SSD Drive Detailed Specifications
Like the recently introduced model XPG SX8000, SX7000 the new drive executes a low-profile M.2 2280 format and forwards the data to a laptop or dekstop four channel PCI Express 3.0. The drive is based on carefully otobrannnye memory chips 3D TLC NAND.
So SX7000 is a more affordable M.2 format memory option compared with SX8000 model based on a memory 3D MLC NAND. In this drive the reading speed is 1800 Mbytes/s and the recording or writing speed is 850 Mb/s. That is about ten times higher than the HDD. And it is also higher than that of the SSD with the SATA interface. Which has a typical speed of reading and writing at about 500 MB/s. The number of I / O data is at least 40% higher than the SATA SSD.
So SX7000 model is well suited as a boot drive: those who only goes for this type of drive or replace with conventional drive will feel a significant difference in operating system load time. The speed of downloading games and applications are also significantly higher in this new drive.
High Data Read Write Speed
SSD M.2 format are more economical and compact. Due to the low energy consumption they are able to prolong the laptop battery life. The mean time between failure (MTBF) is of about 2 Mill. Hours.
SX7000 model has the same advantages corporate ADATA software. And the model SX8000: SLC-caching supports pseudo single-level cell mode (pSLC). Which ensures the stable operation under heavy loads. It also has DRAM buffer that maintains a steady stream of data. By providing an error correction technology (LDPC ECC) that prevents distortion in data. Also includes the data Shaping technology between the cells. So extending the lifetime of the device.
The new SSD has a five-year warranty period.
