ADATA Technology, a leading manufacturer of high-performance DRAM modules, NAND Flash products and mobile accessories today launched the external SSD. That is the new SE730H, an update of the successful SE730. The SE730H features 500 MB/sec of sequential read and write, featuring NAND TLC 3D memory for increased durability and longevity, while still being one of the world’s most compact external SSDs.
It has a reversible USB-C connector for convenience along with an elegant metallic design. Data transfers use USB 3.1 Gen 2 (up to 10Gbps), and it is important to note that the SE730H meets the requirements of IEC IP68 dust and water proof as well as military impact mitigation standards. It is available in 256 GB and 512 GB model. The SE730H is compatible with Windows, Mac OS and Android for transparent cross-platform use.
Super compact with the benefit of 3D NLC TLC memory
While the previous generation SE730 drives were only available in 250 GB. The high-quality 3D NLC TLC switch has enabled ADATA to offer the SE730H in 512GB. At the same time, the SE730H maintains a compact footprint as the smallest device in its class (external USB-C 3D NAND SSD). It weighs only 33g. And users can choose between gold or red metallic color schemes. With 3D TLC NAND, the SE730H offers more than a larger capacity.

The 3D NAND is also about 25% long lasting than 2D NAND, more stable for the life of the product while spending less power, a benefit if paired with the device with batteries. Regarding performance, the SE730H reaches 500MB/s read/write, or about five times the speed of external mechanical units.
ADATA SE730H Convenient and fast with USB-C
With the reversible USB-C, the connection devices no longer involve checking the plug alignment, since there is no up or down. The SE730H attaches to USB-C capable devices the first time and every time. It does with support for USB 3.1 Gen 2, which allows up to 10Gbps instead of the 5Gbps in USB 3.0 / USB 3.1 Gen 1. At these speeds, a 5GB file takes only 16 seconds to move. And an AAA game requires less than one minute. ADATA Adds a USB-C to USB-C cable in the box.
ADATA SE730H Small but powerfully hard
The new SSD has passed IEC IP68 tests, which means complete dust protection and 60-minute test in water. It also matches MIL-STD-810 516.6 impact and shock resistance requirements, resulting in a product that can handle active lifestyles to keep stored data safe. The SE730H runs on plug n play without the need for drivers on Windows, Mac OS, and Android. Allowing for a secure exchange of content and portability between devices, from smartphones to desktops.
