ADATA HD710 Pro IP68 Protection Standards
HD710 Pro is durable and has the larger capacity than before. The original HD710 was quite satisfied for ADATA on Windows, Linux, and Mac OS. The HD710 Pro improves protection against dust, and it also exhibits waterproofing that increases its durability for use in harsh and outdoor environments. Also, it possesses the IEC IP68 protection standards. That is these are completely airtight to the dust and able to withstand up to 60 minutes in 2 meters of water.
It also meets and passes the requirements of MIL-STD 810G 516.6. That provides these drives ability to survives from shocks and impacts associated with falls of up to 1.5 meters. The HD710 Pro uses a three-layer protective structure and implements G-Shock sensor technology that stops and restarts the unit’s activity when shocks or vibrations are detected to prevent data corruption.
The unit features an ergonomic USB port cover which can open/close easily. Also, there is a useful slot around slot for storing your USB cable. The red, yellow and blue variants are available in 1TB / 2TB, while the black version rises to 3TB / 4TB.
HD650: new drive of a classic type which comes with a capacity of 4TB. Like the HD710 Pro, the HD650 also uses strong triple-layer construction to protect stored data. And this also features the same G-Shock sensor technology. The refreshed HD650 ships in a light blue-on-black scheme. And, more importantly, offers consumers up to 4TB capacity, doubling the maximum of 2TB on previously released HD650s.
ADATA HD710 Pro 4TB Without External Power Source
This capability was traditionally only possible with large external drives that required a dedicated power supply, so the upgraded HD650 is a significant step in offering efficiency to users. All of this exhibit an excellent value for money.
