Acer presents two new Chromebase devices with Intel Core i7 processors for video conferencing

Technology manufacturer Acer has introduced two new versions of its all-in-one Chromebase professional devices equipped with eighth-generation Intel Core i7 processors for features such as video conferencing and other professional applications.

The new Acer Chromebase for Meetings 24V2 and Acer Chromebase 24I2 include 24-inch screens and also use solid-state memory (SSD) and the Chrome OS operating system, Acer explained in a statement.

Acer Chromebase for Meetings 24V2 is a device designed specifically for video conferencing and small and medium-sized touch screen conference rooms. It supports up to 25 callers from the first moment, up to 50 with Google G Suite Business and up to 100 with G Suite Enterprise.

As with all other features, Chromebase for Meetings 24V2 uses a Full HD 250-nit screen, a 5MP angle webcam, two microphones and two stereo speakers. Specifications also include an eighth-generation Intel Core i7-8550U processor, 4GB DDR4 RAM and 32GB SSD hard drives.

The all-in-one Acer Chromebase 24I2 is designed for SMBs, work teams, shop windows and shops. It features a touch screen and an adjustable Full HD 1920×1080 with narrow apertures and glare protection.

In addition there is the Intel Core processor of the eighth generation, up to 8GB DDR4 RAM and up to 128GB SSD memory. This device has support for Google Play and back with hidden cables. Like the video conferencing model, it includes USB-C, USB 3.1, SD reader and RJ45 videoconferencing ports as well as automatic updates.
