Acer has announced updates to its Acer Predator Orion 9000 and 5000 desktops with the new Intel Core 9th Generation Desktop Processors, which offer players superior performance for seamless and uninterrupted gaming, even during streaming and recording.

The most powerful device announced is the new Predator Orion 9000, which is equipped with Intel Core i9-9900K processors, as well as the ability to support the new X-Series processors. This is coupled with a Nvidia GeForce RTX 2080 Ti graphics, which is compatible with UHD resolutions of more than 8K.

Its black-silver chassis imitates the design of a spaceship for which it has been equipped with custom ARGB lighting and RGB LED fans. This design is complemented by a side window that makes the interior visible but keeps electromagnetic interference under control.

The new 9th generation Intel Core processors offer up to 8 cores and 16 threads, giving Acer Predator Orion players an advanced system that supports the most demanding current game scenarios. Updates are in line with Acer’s commitment to keeping users on the cutting edge of technology and the best possible user experience.

In addition, the new Nvidia GeForce RTX 2080 and 2080 Ti graphics cards which are based on the Turing architecture and have been designed to enable real-time ray tracing in video games for the first time. All of this powerful hardware remains cool thanks to Acer’s IceTunnel 2.0 technology, which dissipates heat through advanced airflow management that divides the system into multiple heat zones. This prevents the heat from the graphics card from affecting other components such as the processor, power supply or motherboard.

Acer Predator Orion 5000 and 9000 doesn’t neglect aesthetics either, featuring an addressable and software-controlled RGB LED lighting system. No prices have been announced yet.
