Windows 10, Redstone 5 will offer a control center?

In the control centre menu, there is nothing new. Microsoft announced last year its future integration into Windows 10. Publishing a screenshot shows that Redstone 5 may well be the version that brings this feature to life.

To the question of what control center refers to, the answer is simple. This is a specific location gathering large options of the OS. An icon in the taskbar would provide quick access to network connectivity options, aircraft mode, night lighting or a battery saver mode. All this small world is available through a maintenance center but the Control Center would simplify things. A clear separation of notifications would be made.

Work on this system began in 2017. This screenshot shows that Insiders users are likely to test it in a future builds.

Build Windows 10 Redstone 5, soon a Control Center

It reveals a Microsoft application called “Screen Sketch” but also displays a shortcut to this Control Center in the taskbar. It takes the form of a gear icon. We don’t know if this capture is recent or not. It is possible that it is a model of the giant but that would be rather strange.

If this “Control Center” is now on the official path of its integration in Windows 10, the Insiders program will allow knowing a little more quickly. The latter is now turned towards the next evolution of the OS known as RS5 aka Redstone 5. According to Microsoft’s schedule, its public deployment will normally begin next October.
