Windows 10 October Update puts HP computers on blue screen of death

After many problems with the October update of Windows 10, there are new bugs, this time for users with HP computers. In this case, these are the updates KB4464330 and KB4462919 that have recently arrived on computers. Apparently, they produce a blue screen of death.

It is said that not only users with an HP computer would be among the people affected by the error. In recent hours, users with Dell models with the same blue screen problem have appeared.

These blue screens appear after you install the KB4464330 and KB4462919 updates on Windows 10 for users with an HP computer, where the source is an HP HpqKbFiltr.sys keyboard driver file located in the driver’s folder. When the user attempts to install the update, he or she encounters this screenshot. You receive a message that says “error WDF_VIOLATION”.

It tells the user to restart the computer to fix the problem. In fact, although this is the case, there are users who still have the same error. Especially if you still insist on the update. Microsoft has already announced that they are aware of the error and are working on a solution that they hope will come soon.

Currently, Windows 10 users can try to remove the HpqKbFiltr.sys file that is causing the problem as a measure of this error. Although it is better not to touch this type of files because anything could happen as this is the system file. So we have to wait for a solution from the company.
