AV-TEST has just published its latest results concerning several Antivirus solutions for Windows 10. The goal is to determine the best malware protection suite for enterprises. The results are not surprising, with results now known.
Windows 10, what is the best antivirus of the beginning of 2018?
The products with the highest ratings are once again the market references. They are signed Kaspersky, Symantec and Trend Micro. Kaspersky stands out however with this time two solutions having won the maximum of points is 18 out of 18. These are “Small Office Security” and “Endpoint Security.” Trend Micro’s Office Scan and Symantec’s Endpoint Protection Cloud are also ranked at the same level.
Windows Defender offers robust protection
Microsoft confirms once again a good progression of its native solution proposed with Windows 10, Windows Defender. So, being among the best solutions, the application obtains an overall score of 17 out of 18. In particular, it offers perfect protection with a rating of 6 out of 6. It loses one point in performance and use.
At the bottom of the ranking, we find “PSB Computer Protection” from F-Secure and Traps from Palo Alto Networks with overall scores of 14.5 out of 18. The following scores the lowest in protection while “PSB Computer Protection” scores only 3 points out of 6 in ease of use.
The tests were carried out during the period January and February 2017.
