Sources from the Bloomberg service, which are typically very well informed, report new features that are likely to be seen on future iPhones. Apple is preparing some very fresh and original solutions, which we will undoubtedly be happy to see on these smartphones.
What will be the future iPhone? Leaks indicate the contact-free operation of the screen
The iPhone X presented last year was the most complete “flagship” of its kind, showing the full capabilities of Apple engineers, regardless of the price we have to pay for this gadget.
In fact, the phone has brought to the smartphone market a few notable innovations, and the technology of face recognition is far ahead of the capabilities of the manufacturers under the flag of Android (which, according to analysts, will not catch up on this issue by 2019). However, they were not significant enough to restore Apple to the position of leader in this segment.
The iPhoneX, which is also an excellent camera, only ranked fifth in the prestigious DxOMark ranking, on a par with Huawei 10 Pro (check the lowest price) and Xiaomi Mi MIX 2S.
No doubt, Apple engineers aren’t vacuuming and are still developing technologies that could give them an advantage over the Korean and Chinese giants. What will it be? Of course, we are not sure because such information is kept secret, like Asses in a sleeve, but the Bloomberg service has got some exciting information.
This year’ mentioned 3D sensing technology is expected to appear on all new iPhone models, and although its first application is face recognition, it is hard to imagine some other applications. According to Bloomberg sources, we can expect gesture-free operation on Apple phones in just two years’ time.
That allows the user to control the device, e.g., with dirty hands while driving or not lifting the equipment from the table (e.g., answering the call in hands-free mode by swiping over it).
In the future, Apple’s smartphones will follow a different path with curved screens, although this is not supposed to be a rounded-edge solution, as is the case with Samsung, but rather a gentle curve along the entire length of the screen to improve ergonomics. The curved OLED screens are due to appear on your iPhone in just 2-3 years.
