One of those little-known features of iOS 11, the new version of the iPhone and iPad operating system, is to scan physical documents without having to install any third-party applications.
It is handy because we can do without a scanner, which in the year 2017 does not make sense, and because it is a fast, portable and quality method (in fact, the quality is much higher than that of a domestic scanner) to scan any document.

Scanner documents on iOS 11
Not only will we have to have iOS 11 installed, but we will also need a 64-bit phone or device. So that is not (for example, iPhone 5, will not be able to enjoy this new functionality).
It is not the camera application itself that allows it; we do not have a sufficiently dedicated use either. Also, in this case, iOS has included it within the Notes application. That comes pre-installed on all phones and tablets of the firm.
Once we are in the Notes application, we create one or open an existing one. At the bottom, we will see a bar with several elements: we choose the third starting with the right, which is an icon with a ‘+.’
It does not matter if we take the image from the top or if the document is rotated. The application itself will be in charge of putting everything in order and adjusting what is necessary, although if we want, we can take the manual control to improve the result or to finish fixing the image.
Once everything is ready, we will see the document as we have it in the image below is fully digitized. Although at the moment this tool does not have OCR (text recognition).
This feature, handy for users who usually work with paper documents, such as students. Also, that is one of the many new features that include iOS 11.
