Try these free alternatives to Google Keep. Google Keep is a free application in which we can create notes quickly and manage them under a friendly and fully functional interface. With this tool, you can have the same content: lists, sketches, voice writing and simple text; both in the web version and in the mobile app, thanks to the synchronization using a Google account.
If for some reason you can not keep Keep on your phone or you just do not like that application, we will mention five excellent alternatives that have nothing to envy regarding functions that improve our productivity.
1.- Microsoft OneNote ( Web / Windows / Android / iOS )
It is a complete web service in which in addition to having the same functions as in Keep, such as reminders, personalization of notes, the creation of lists and freehand draw, OneNote also have other options, such as insert tables, attach different more file formats.
The user interface is displayed as an authentic Windows notebook. Everything we do will be automatically saved and linked to our Google account.
2.- Evernote ( Web / Android / Desktop / iOS )
A super competitor, which allows you to add tags to notes to easily find them, upload a file from Google Drive or PC, and create several blocks with many notes each. All this, in addition to the functions that, like the previous tool, share with Keep.
Work chat is one of the particular characteristics of Evernote. It keeps us in constant communication with members of a team.
It has a payment plan and a somewhat limited free one: it allows creating notes of up to 25 MB, but it offers a storage space of 60 MB, of course, we will not always have such massive records, but it would bring problems if it is just what we need to save.
3.- Simplenote ( Web / Windows / Android / iOS)
For lovers of minimalist tools, but dominant. Simplenote uses the mechanism of bookmarks or favorites to organize our notes. We can add labels, create several versions of a letter and share them on different platforms.
It does not allow to add enriched text like Evernote, but the amount of notes that we can do is infinite, without having to pay, because this app is completely free. It is also available for Linux ( .deb / .tar.gz ).
