While the 2018 edition of Gamescom has only just started, some interesting announcements have already been made. After the new Nvidia graphics cards, it was Ubisoft who made some noise with Transference, his next virtual reality project. A trailer and demo already available on PS4 have attracted the attention of more than one player.

Transference: An experience between cinema and video game

Over time, the boundary between video games and movies can become blurred. This applies all the more to the broadcast in view of the gameplay shown at Gamescom. The story seems to be at the center of the experience, which is even more intense with a VR helmet. Telling the story of a family through the father, Raymond, the game consists of recovering the information contained in his brain. Like a puzzle, puzzles must be solved to assemble the pieces that make up each family member’s life.

Game of Ubisoft Transference

The Transference should be released on XBox One and PC as well as on PS4, but only on the latter platform, the demo is available. Instead of taking a piece of the game, the developers decided to create a complete sequel. Like a “The Stationary until dawn”, the proposed meeting, therefore, takes place before the main story. Besides the announcement of the demo, a release date has finally been announced: September 18, 2018, so there is not much time left until we get our hands on this thriller. Transference is as fascinating to his story as it is to his gameplay, and the editors will certainly test it when it comes out.
