Showcased at Computex 2018, the new Thermaltake Riing Trio 12 LED RGB LED fans are now officially announced, featuring an advanced RGB LED lighting system and support for Amazon’s Alexa assistant.
New Thermaltake Riing Trio 12 LED RGB fans with support for Alexa and Razer Chroma
These Thermaltake Riing Trio 12 LED RGB fans feature an RGB LED lighting system featuring a total of 30 diodes, distributed over three zones and fully configurable by software to provide a highly customizable lighting system. To manage the lighting we can use the TT RGB PLUS software, but it will also be possible to use the Razer Chroma technology, making it possible to synchronize with the products of both brands.
If we focus on the more technical features, the fan is equipped with a hydraulic bearing and has the capacity to rotate at a speed of between 500 and 1500 RPM, generating a maximum airflow of 41.13CFM, a noise of 25 dBa and a static pressure of 1.4 mmH2O. These characteristics do not make them the best fans on the market in terms of performance.

All Thermaltake TT RGB PLUS products are compatible with Amazon Alexa’s voice service, which allows you to control lights or fan speed when talking to your device. Thanks to Amazon Alexa, TT RGB PLUS products also offer an additional visual signal, to verify current weather conditions at your location or anywhere in the world.
The new Thermaltake Riing Trio 12 LED RGB LED fans are available in packs of three units and a controller for a price of $129.99, so we will have to think very carefully if we compensate their lighting system and integration with Alexa.
