The Last of Us already runs at 4K in the latest version of the PlayStation 3 emulator

The Last of Us can be played at 4K resolution. The team responsible for RPCS3, the PlayStation 3 emulator at heart, continues to work hard to maintain and constantly improve its product, and the latest update brings the incredible power of running The Last Of Us at 4K.

The acclaimed Naughty Dog title now runs at a constant 4K at 30 FPS with no problem. This is done using a configuration based on an overclocked 5.1GHz Core i9-9900K and a GTX 1080 graphics card.

As we can see, the graphical quality of the game is unfortunately not the best, as it is a game from 2013, designed for the hardware from 2006, and therefore its textures and physics are far from what we are used to today. However, it is a great achievement for the emulator to be able to run it at such a high resolution of over 30FPS, and so we congratulate its developers for the excellent work they are doing for the community.
